About JetFools

JetFools tells you what airlines hope you don't know. We roast the airlines, rank them with real government data every month, and build free tools that help you keep your money.

What we do

• The Fool Index: a monthly ranking of US airlines and airports built from the U.S. Department of Transportation's Air Travel Consumer Report.
• Free tools: a bag size checker and fee calculator and a refund letter builder.
• Guides: airline fees and rules, airport survival guides, and your rights as a passenger, each with sources and a "last checked" date.
• Final Boarding: an 8-bit airport RPG, for when you're stuck in line.

How we keep it straight

Facts and opinion are labeled separately. Rankings marked "vibes" are comedy. Fees, rules, and Fool Index numbers come from airline and government sources, are dated, and get rechecked regularly. JetFools isn't affiliated with any airline, and no airline pays to change a ranking.
