What flying Allegiant is like
Allegiant connects smaller cities to leisure destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando, and Florida's Gulf Coast, usually with nonstop flights that the big airlines don't offer. The tradeoff is limited schedules: if your flight is cancelled, the next one might be days away. Its checkout also offers hotels, rental cars, and other add-ons.
How to pay less on Allegiant
- Add bags during booking, when they're cheapest.
- Check how often your route flies before you book. A cancellation can mean waiting days for the next flight.
- Skip the add-ons you don't need. The checkout offers a lot of them.
- Leave buffer time on both ends of a trip in case of delays.
